How we move your merchandise, how long each lane takes, and what happens from the moment your goods reach our facility.
| Lane | Method | Typical transit |
|---|---|---|
| Local — Port Saint Lucie & Treasure Coast | Van / box truck | Same day or next business day |
| National — anywhere in the USA | Ground freight / LTL pallet | 2 – 7 business days |
| Caribbean — by boat (sea freight) | Consolidated ocean container | 7 – 21 days after sailing |
| Caribbean — by plane (air cargo) | Air cargo | 2 – 6 business days |
Transit times start when the shipment leaves our facility and exclude customs clearance at the destination. Sea freight depends on the sailing schedule for your island.
Once your merchandise is at our facility and payment is received, we pack, label and hand it to the carrier within 1 – 3 business days. Full pallets and crates may take an extra day to build.
Bring your items to 750 NW Enterprise Dr, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34986 during business hours (Mon – Fri, 9:00am – 6:00pm), or have online orders and suppliers deliver straight to that address with your name on the label. We receive, check and store them for you free for 14 days.
We email you the carrier tracking number, airway bill or bill of lading as soon as the shipment moves. You can also call (561) 403-8017 for a status update any business day.
Import duties and taxes at the destination are paid by the shipper or receiver and are not included in freight charges unless your quote states otherwise. We prepare the paperwork and can refer you to a customs broker where one is required.
We cannot ship explosives, flammable liquids or gases, illegal drugs, weapons, ammunition, live animals, cash, or perishable food unless agreed in advance. Full list in our terms & conditions.
Weather, port congestion, carrier schedule changes and customs inspections can add time. We tell you as soon as we know and keep you updated until delivery. Questions: sales@cariexglobal.com.
